Now that summer is dwindling and my outside runs will soon come to an end once the weather gets too cold, I have been toying with the idea of joining a gym or finding some workout classes that I can actually stick with. So I turned to Samantha Cutler for some advice!
Samantha Cutler may seem like the typical wellness blogger from the outside in, however she definitely is a cut above the rest. She fills her days as a fitness influencer, bodylicious trainer, brand ambassador and public speaker. Her instagram is FILLED with fitness inspiration and definitely motivates me to hit the gym. Grab a booch and check out her top five classes below!

Samantha aka “The Fit Fatale” has ALWAYS been active whether it be playing sports in both high school and college or hitting up the eliptical on the daily at her local gym, Victoria Park. After college, the gym asked her to become a fitness ambassador and what followed was the Fit Fatale blog that we have all known and grown to love today.
Samantha finds that she can stick her to fitness routine because she mixes up the types of classes she attends. With even more studios adjusting their classes to 45 minutes so that people can squeeze them into their schedule, there is less of an excuse to fit one in. No one has all day to be at the gym but Samantha definitely recommends trying out these five classes.
THE FIT FATALE’S FIVE FITNESS CLASSES TO TRY OUT THIS FALL
1. Beat Spin: Unlike anything else, this is SO not a regular spin class. Spinning and dancing on the bike to the beat. This is where I get in my cardio!
2. Bodylicious (The class I teach!): This consists of dancing and plyometrics but ultimately a full body work out that incorporates your abs, ass, legs, hips and all that girly goodness of being a woman that we want to own and be proud of.
3. Pilates: This is my calm down. I don’t do enough yoga, but Pilates is my strength and lean out class. I get to stretch myself out all while toning. Its amazing for core.
4. Circuit: The absolute killer combo of cardio and strength. This is 45 minutes of non stop station rotation, but our circuits have a lot of cardio so your heart rate is up and your in fat burning mode. We do TRX, Kettle balls, Sprints and everything you can think of. Every class is so different when it comes to circuit. And you feel like a bad ass!
5. Barre: Similar to a ballet toning class, you incorporate work at the ballet barre and mat work that targets your abs, arms and ass. Its a great compliment to bodylicious but is less cardio and more elongating.
The Fit Fatale Challenge
Samantha also hosts a facebook group of strong and hustling women who are looking for a supportive community to help reach their optimal health. The group is run as a private Facebook group where members have to request to be in the group.
“We also have a chat that goes along with the group where everyone is communicating back and forth everyday. They snap pics of their food or recipes and share. Its a great discussion and all the girls are very educated and into the topics so its wonderful platform to find similar minded people…..Every few months I share a challenge, which will become more constantly now that the group has really taken off……We all kept communicating in it and finally last week we kicked off our newest challenge of 25 day detox eliminating alcohol, caffeine, sugar, processed foods, soy, dairy, meat & seafood, unhealthy fats and oils, starch based carbs and all processed foods.
Not everyone is going to be able to cut all these things from their diet and thats something I recognize. Its a big change and hard on a lot of people with their busy schedules so I ask them to at least pick a few they think its possible. I suggested taking a picture, their body fat (if they choose to cut things like dairy and meat), their weight if thats what their goal is… and ultimately take note of how they feel so that the can know how far they have come at the end of the challenge. I did 30 days no alcohol back in November and asked my following if anyone wanted to join. It was before the TFF challenge was born but it was certainly the start of this community. I am so happy to see where it has grown to now in less than a year with around 70 active women and more adding themselves daily. We are pretty bad ass! I love it.”
I don’t know about you but I am DEFINITELY going to try out her class recommendations this Fall and incorporate some of The Fit Fatale Challenges! I am actually heading to my first PURE BARRE workout class today. Are you IN?
