Warning – these energy bites are ADDICTING! I can eat these bites by the half dozen (and I do!). If you are pregnant, I highly recommend you make a few batches and freeze them for when you come home from the hospital. Enjoy!
Ingredients
1/2 cup Vital Proteins COLLAGEN
2 cups Bob’s Red Mill Oats
1/2 cup flaxseed
3 tablespoons brewers yeast
1 cup Wild Friends Peanut butter
1/2 cup local raw honey
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
*OPTIONAL You can add a drizzle of chocti (chocolate ghee) for taste!*
All you have to do is mix the ingredients together and roll into balls. Stick it in the fridge and you are done!
FUN FACT: WHAT THE HECK IS BREWERS YEAST? A traditional herbal remedy used to stimulate and increase the production of breast milk and is a rich source of the B-vitamins and amino acids essential for nursing moms and their babies. In addition to helping with breast milk production, it is also believed to help combat fatigue and fight off the baby blues. Great source of B vitamins, chromium (helps control blood sugar levels), and probiotics!
