Three whole decades.
I’ve been thinking about this blog post for awhile now. Mainly because when I started this blog six months back, my intentions were to capture all the healthy wellness changes I was making on this road to thirty. And before I knew it, I was surrounded by a community of boss babes and health and wellness junkies who I ended up writing about on the blog because I wanted to share them with y’all as well.
BUT I have had this 30th birthday blog post in the back of my mind for awhile now. And instead of writing some profound article full of cliche’s about my twenties/upcoming thirties, I decided I am just going to express my gratitude for my thirtieth birthday. Because this is how I am feeling. SO grateful as I hit the 30th birthday mark.
I am so grateful for my good health, my family and friends good health. May we always all be blessed.
I am so grateful to be married to my best friend. To be supported by my family who I love so much. To be surrounded by my best friends since high school, my college girlfriends, and my law school besties. May we all always be surrounded by those who love and support us.
I am so grateful I get to not only work as an attorney, but I am pursuing my passion by writing my blog and working on my first book. May we all always pursue our passion and follow the path that sets our soul on fire.
I am so grateful to be living a life of opportunity. Knowing that despite life’s struggles, there will also be great successes around the corner. May we always see the light, the positivity, no matter how dark the present may seem.
I am so grateful to be celebrating my 30th birthday, because not everyone gets to walk 30 years on Earth. Especially, my younger brother and my college roommate who we lost way too soon.
I am so so so grateful. This is 30. This is living.
My dad always says, there are alot of ebbs and flows in life, so if there is something to celebrate, you celebrate. And so we did. And I am so grateful for everyone who celebrated with me Saturday. Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Thank you for taking the time to read this post. And thank you for being a part of my life.
Sending you all light and gratitude.
This is 30.
xx Erica
