Growing up, I was cheerleading captain in HS and I was also into gymnastics and shopping. So I was definitely a girly girl. But for some reason, I never mastered the makeup/skincare regime. I just never really figured it out until later in my life. Now at 30 years old, I have a very structured skin care regime that I follow twice a day.

The weather is changing and that means our skin is too. As the weather gets colder, our skin tends to get dry, inflamed, and chapped. We all have different skin types and while one thing will work great for someone, it might not work well for another. I formulated my line so that it is suitable for all skin types but you can always add a treatment, serum, or moisturizer with it. I find the simpler the product, the better my skin reacts. Cleanse, tone, and hydrate are the three simple steps I go by. This simple three step routine is a great way to keep your skin in check for the upcoming months.
CLEAN facial cleansing dust: This is a soap free cleanser. The cleansing agent in it is aritha powder. This ayurvedic herb contains saponins that work as natural cleansers. Clean also has a blend of banana, cacao, white kaolin clay, calendula, and aloe vera. It provides light exfoliation without being too harsh and can be used daily. This is great for Winter skin since our skin tends to flake a little more than normal. By the way, it smells kind of like banana bread.
FLORA MIST facial toner: Flora Mist is a facial toner that will hydrate, balance, and tone the skin in one simple step. As our skin dry’s out, it starts to feel tight. This blend of soothing floral hydrosols, and coconut water bring hydration back to the skin. Witch hazel and aloe vera help with inflammation while toning and balancing the skin.
BEAUTY OIL: The most important part… hydration! This oil is full of omega fatty acids and antioxidants which is super important when battling Winter skin. Omega fatty acids are crucial to healthy skin. Beauty Oil isn’t just for your face, it is also an excellent body and hair oil. I recommend dry brushing your body and applying the oil after you shower. Use it on the ends of your hair to tame unruliness and to help with that Winter static. The aromatic essential oil blend is super dreamy and calming.
What we use on our skin is obviously super important but we also need to be mindful about what we eat, how much sleep we are getting, and exercise. Those play a big factor in our skin as well. I believe that if we are taking care of our bodies, we don’t need a huge skincare routine and minimal is better.
