This shamrock shake is healthy + tasty AF. I made my own almond milk using Ellie’s Nutmilk Bags and it was SUPER easy.
First, lets make the almond milk using Ellie’s Nut Milk Bag. All you need is a nut milk bag (#AFFILIATE snag yours here and use code KOMBUCHA for a discount!), 1 cup almonds, 4 1/2 cups water, an Ellie’s Nut Milk Bag, and a blender.
Start by soaking one cup of almonds in 1/2 cup a water for 8 hours (or longer). Rinse off the almonds and place the almonds into a blender with 4 cups of water and blitz until smoothy creamy texture appears. Next pour the almond mixture through the nut milk bag with a large jar (or something to catch the nut milk) underneath. That is your easy peasey nut milk! Note that fresh almond milk should be made in small batches as it only lasts for a few days.

NOW, lets make this SHAKE. This is what you need to complete your shake: 1/2 Avocado; 1 large handful Mint, fresh leaves; 1 cup almond milk; Stevia; 1 tsp Vanilla extract, and 1 cup Ice. Mix in a blender and voila! A healthy Shamrock Shake to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!
