While I LOVE making food at home because I know exactly what is in it ingredient wise – I also know that it is just impossible to make EVERYTHING from scratch and care for my toddlers simultaneously. So when I find a brand I love – I LOVE to scream them from the mountain tops and share them with y’all. That brand here is Nona Lim!
Nona Lim makes everything from broth pouches to soups to pad thai noodles. But my absolute favorite is their BONE BROTH.
Let’s pause for a second – what is difference between regular broth and bone broth?
Broth is made from simmering roasted or raw meaty bones and vegetables with added meat. … Both stock and broth need to simmer for three to four hours. Bone broth is made just with roasted bones, but it needs to simmer for up to 48 hours per Hungry Huy.

But what REALLY makes bone broth so great isn’t the way it is made but the ample number of health benefits bone broth is. As soon as I feel a cold coming on, I run to my bone broth. For example, some benefits of bone broth include:
- Nutrient dense including including calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, vitamin A &K and collagen.
- Reduces inflammation
- Heals the gut
- May promote better sleepThese are just a FEW of the benefits.
So when I saw that Nona Lim had both super clean organic ingredients and on the go pouches, I caved. I gave it a try and I am so glad that I did. In our current rotation, I really love their Spicy Chicken Ramen Bone Broth and the Tumeric Chicken Bone Broth variety.
I highly recommend giving Nona Lim a shot, especially if you are overwhelmed with staying healthy and cooking at home. Typically I buy them from Whole Foods but they are also available at Costco (find the full list here).
