Have you checked out all of my #shopsmall holiday gift recommendations yet? If you haven’t, head over and check it out. Normally, I like to keep BYOK focused on the health and wellness world. However I couldn’t let #shopsmall Saturday pass without featuring this amazing company, LEMONBUG.
ABOUT LEMONBUG
Lemonbug is a jewelry company, with their heart sleeve, founded by Gerly Noland. Gerly started the company as a way to combine her passion for being creative and helping homeless pups. In fact the name of the company is named after Gerly’s rescue dog, Louie aka Lou Lou Lemonbug. And as you can guess, their company supports various pet charities!
PET CHARITIES
With each and EVERY purchase, $1 is donated for each item purchased when you shop through Lemonbug. And it doesn’t stop there. Lemonbug also donates in other ways too.
On National Dog Day, Lemonbug attended the Vanderpump Pets event and donated 15% of all sales to the cause. It was the perfect match up of raising money for rescue pups and helping the homeless pups get adopted. Gerly even go to spend time with Lisa Vanderpump and met some of the dogs she saved from the dog meat festival in China! Doesn’t that make your heart happy?!
Another pet rescue collaboration also happens to be with a famous real housewife, Gretchen Rossie. Lemonbug and Gretchen have partnered up together this holiday season as they are both animal lovers. (And by the way Gretchen’s handbag line is made with vegan leather, #winning!).
THE BLING, BLING
Lemonbug’s jewelry is hand cut, drilled, filed and made in their studio in San Diego, California. They ONLY use quality materials to produce their products so you get meaningful, everyday jewelry to cherish for years to come!
The jewelry varies between sterling silver and gold filled. They sell numerous variations of necklaces and bracelets and are starting to create earrings and rings. If you want to check them out, you can find all their items on their website.
#SHOPSMALL
I encourage all of you to check out Lemonbug and all the other small shops out their as you search for holiday gifts this holiday season. Being an entrepreneur is hard work and your purchase goes right back to the small shops. And in this case, your purchase goes right back into the community and rescue pups!
Thanks for reading today’s post & happy shopping!
