Episode 20 features my very very very good friend, Stella, the founder, Designer, Creative Director and Corsetiere behind the brand Champagne Corsets & Designs, LLC. She studied Intimate Apparel and Corsetry at the Fashion Institute of Technology in the heart of New York City’s garment district. After graduating, Stella spent years designing lingerie for many well known labels and companies such as Kohls, Target, JCPenney, Wal-Mart, Victoria’s Secret, Bloomingdale’s, Lane Bryant, etc., just to name a few.
Her work has been displayed twice in the Museum at The Fashion Institute of Technology. Stella has made custom a corsets for Dakota Johnson, the actress from the Fifty Shades of Grey movies and other celebrities alike. She is the first Corsetiere from Connecticut to have attended the Oxford
Conference of Corsetry in Oxford, England.
