Hi everyone! Welcome to the Bring Your Own Kombucha podcast. My name is Erica Biesiada and I am the creator of Bring Your Own Kombucha, which is a blog and now a podcast. CLICK HERE to listen to my introduction podcast.
I am so honored that you have chosen to follow my journey and listen to this podcast. Podcasting is to put it mildly, a bit scarey. It is really hard to put yourself out there and even worse to play back the episode and hear your voice.
But I love doing what I am doing. I love interviewing people in the health and wellness industry and bring all of you information to implement into your day to day life.
I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself before I jumped into the podcast content. I am 30 years old, married to my sweetheart of almost 12 years, and I am full time attorney. The blogging and podcasting is just a side hustle and passion of mine.
I started really investing time and energy into my health about a year and a half ago. I decided to stop taking birth control to detox my body, incorporate more greens into my diet, shift over to nongmo and organic produce, swap out all my toxic household products for nontoxic ones, incorporate more ecofriendly habits and products in our day to day lives, and so on.
I also have a journalism degree so at that juncture I decided I wanted to start a blog and share all of these easy swaps. And here I am almost a year into blogging and I am starting a podcast.
This podcast will focus on not only health and wellness in general, but the mind body and soul. I truly want to talk about not just physical health, but mental and emotional health, spiritual journey’s, and of course every nutrition related.
So far I have interviewed yoga guru Sophie Jaffe whose episode will go live next week. I have interviewed my best friend Heather Boylan who is a registered nurse and we chat about diabetes, how it has affected her life, the different types and how to prevent it. I’ve also chatted with spiritual being Jessica Yvonne and vodka loving nutritionist Megan Kober of the Nutrition Addiction.
I am truly working SO SO SO hard to bring you the best interviews. If you have any suggestions feel free to drop me an email at byokpodcast@gmail.com.
And I also want to send a shout out to two of my podcast sponsors so far -> Kasandrinos Olive Oil – an organic, cold pressed olive oil made with olives from Greece. It truly is way better than the store bought brands out there. If you want to give them a try, you can find them on amazon or their website, Kasandrinos.com. Use the code KOMBUCHA for a discount.
Blooming Lotus Jewlery -> Jewlery made with intention. What I mean by that is Jennifer, the owner, creates beautiful malas beads and mantra coins and the like with pure intentions. Some are made with a focus on abundance and others on love. You can find her amazing works of art at bloominglotusjewlery.com.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for listening to my podcast. And if you feel inclined, please go rate my podcast on Apple Itunes Store so that others can find my podcast as well.
Thank you for listening. Raising a Kombucha to you all, CHEERS!
