I am all about the DIY (do it yourself) beauty tips. ESPECIALLY, tips regarding preserving your skin. I don’t live in Hollywood, I don’t have access to the Christie Brinkley’s dermatologist, and I surely don’t make 2 million a year to spend on whatever body treatments those Kardashian sisters are doing. So I really try to do as much research as I can to make sure I take care of my body from the inside out.
That’s why when Morgan of Prosecco and Projects recently posted a DIY Floral Facial Steam, I knew that I just had to share it with you all. She combines dried rosehips, lavender and chamomile. The reason this triple threat is so potent?
“Rosehips help regenerate skin cell production and can help reduce the appearance of some scaring. Lavender helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and helps eliminate blemishes. Chamomile helps with inflammation. Bye Bye bloat!”
What next?
Add two tablespoons of each to a large bowl and pour in boiling water over the top. Lay a towel over your head to trap in the steam and hold your face over the bowl for 10 min.
The results? RIDICULOUSLY soft and glowing (literally!) skin. Another winning combination that she suggests is lemon, lavender and rosemary.

Have any other beauty tips for me?

I love this idea so much. I am going to have to try it out once I am able to get my hands on the ingredients on my next day off!
