Now more than ever, it is so important to make sure that we are being as clean as possible. That includes CLEANING YOUR CELL PHONE. I read a statistic that said there are 25,127 bacteria per square inch of your cell phone. (Find that statistic here). GROSS!!!
So I did a little research and found a simple DIY cell phone disinfectant that you can make at home.
All you need is: 1/4 cup vinegar • 1/4 cup vodka • 10 drops tea tree essential oil
**Two Tea Tree oil options include one by Natures Fusions (Use code BYOK15 for a discount) or Doterra has a quality one too.
Directions: Add ingredients together into a small spray bottle. Spray the liquid into a ultra fine microfiber cloth (NOT DIRECTLY ONTO THE PHONE). Apply it to your phone front and back.
Note: Please make sure there are no cracks in your phone prior to cleaning or it can be ruined. Also, remember to remove your case when cleaning your phone. But also – clean your case!
PHONE CASE: I also wanted to note, see pictured below – my phone is sporting a PELACASE which is a ecofriendly, 100% Compostable phone case made from Flax shive and a plant based biopolymer. They are super affordable and usually you can spot them having a deal.
EMF PROTECTION: I use the Aires Tech Shield on my cell phone for Electromagnetic Radiation protection. It is a SUPER AFFORDABLE (this is even more affordable is you use my affiliate code KOMBUCHA). Want to learn more about reducing the harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation emitted by data transmitting electronic devices, head to my blog post here.
