I was legit on CLOUD 9 when I found out that Lauryn Evarts of The Skinny Confidential was willing to let me do a Q&A with her. If you haven’t heard of her before, you won’t stop hearing about her now, because she is EVERYWHERE. She is the queen of all things health, wellness, beauty, fashion, and realness. She’s hosts The Skinny Confidential podcast, is a well established author (she has written everything from blogs, books, and meal plans) and has cultivated The Skinny Confidential empire. She is the ultimate cool girl of our generation and I’m so excited for y’all to read her feature. ENJOY!
There are SO MANY things I want to touch on. First and foremost, you are a TOTAL BOSS BABE. You do it all – blogging, podcasting, being a wife, entrepreneur, maintaining a healthy lifestyle (because let’s be real that can be a full time job in itself), How do you do it all?
It all comes down to consistency. Create systems so you can be on autopilot and find balance.
Consistency. Got it. What about Balance? How do you balance everything without feeling guilty about things you have to say no to or push to the side?
You have to prioritize. I don’t feel guilty – you have to make sacrifices and choose what’s important.

Out of all of your “jobs” what is your favorite right now?
Podcasting is definitely one of my favorite mediums right now! I also LOVE Lives.
What has been your favorite podcast interview so far?
That’s a tough one. We’ve had some pretty incredible guests. Gary Vee was probably one of my favorites. He is such an inspiration so it was exciting to pick his brain!
It’s not enough that you dominate the blogging and podcasting industry, but your fashion is always on point as well. Where do you get your style inspiration from?
Whether it’s my home or my outfit I LOVE contrast. Mixing masculine and feminine pieces together keeps it fresh. I also love mixing highs and lows- I mix up my style a lot but at the end of the day I love a crispy white button up, skinny jeans, & super high boots.
I love it! What about advice for up and coming bloggers? How do we stand out amongst the all the other blogs out there?
Find your niche.
