Beet Root Latte with Probiotics
With Valentine ‘ s day around the corner, I wanted to find a healthy recipe that my toddler could help create but was also super healthy. Most pink drinks from pinterest are full of sugar and unsafe food dye. So when I saw the Just Thrive Probiotics beet latte recipe , I decided to create an adaptation because I thought it was genius to sneak in some probiotics this way. My version includes some white chocolate chips and sprinkles on top which makes it a little bit more attractive to my three year old.
The base in which makes the drink red is BEETS. Beets are FULL of nutrition, high in fiber and health benefits include reducing inflammation, boost your immune system, lower blood pressure and MOR E. I also wanted to note that I like to use a specific brand of white chocolate chips by Lily’s because this brand has no added sugar, non GMO, and interestingly enough has some fiber in it.
Of course, I added in the spore based probiotics by Just Thrive because my kiddo’s need their probiotics just like us (especially since everyone around seems to be getting sick lately!).
Grab your toddler and make this healthy “pink drink” for Valentines Day!
