I’ve said it many times before but I definitely follow the 80/20 rule when it comes to my family’s lifestyle. I try really hard to live a nontoxic lifestyle BUT I feel comfortable in knowing that if 80% of the time we have quality, eco-friendly, nontoxic products then we can have allowances for the remaining 20% of the time.
I plan to apply the same dynamic when raising Baby Elizabeth. In doing some research regarding baby toys + gifts, I found the following tips to be re-occuring:
- Aim for organic cotton when possible
- Wooden toys are usually a safe bet (watch for paint issues)
- BPA free plastic, Silicone based and Natural Rubber toys are the preferable option
With those tips in mind, here are 8 baby gifts that you can feel confidently giving new parents + baby.
Bubaloo Baby teether: So cute + totally safe. This teether is made of silicone and bpa free.
