I grew up LOVING my chocolate Advent calendar every December. However, I just DON’T love the idea of giving my kiddo’s chocolate every single morning. Not a great way to start the day. So I searched high and low for some advent calendars that don’t have chocolate but are still fun. Check them out!

Happy Birthday Jesus from Mardels: This advent calendar is my favorite. Every day you have one bible verse and one puzzle (final puzzle is a nativity scene). And it is totally age appropriate for my youngest to adults. Only $10 at Mardels.

The Giving Manger: Another unique advent calendar where you add one piece of straw to be added every time someone does something nice or an act of service.

My Advent Nativity was actually gifted to us by a good friend and my girls love the pop out aspect of it! interactive pop-out board book, that teaches children about Advent and the nativity.

School poster and celebrate the night before school
2- Let the kids pick their curriculum. My kids voted on which animal we would study this month
3- Take them back to school shopping. Alphabet jammies were a must
4- Let them have a show and tell or bring a stuffy to class day!
