This is the first Thanksgiving in a couple years that I won’t be hosting at my home so I’m on appetizer duty as my contribution. So when I teamed up with JustDate Syrup, I decided I wanted to challenge myself to create some creative recipes using their date syrup (I typically use it in my coffee as a sweetener).
First, a few facts about Just Date syrup. “Just Date Syrup is made from one ingredient: organic California medjool dates. It delivers all of the nutritional power of whole medjool dates: low glycemic index, rich in antioxidants, & high in vitamins and minerals like potassium and magnesium. It’s a sweet you can feel great about.”
Are you ready to get creative? Check out these two easy peasy recipes below!
BACON WRAPPED BRUSSELS WITH DATE SYRUP: Here’s what you do, chop off the ends of your brussels and wrap them in bacon. Brush on the date syrup on top of the bacon and throw them in the oven to cook at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Mangia Mangia! Enjoy!
